Located in Brazil, BENTELER’s Campinas headquarters is a strategic service hub leading key areas like sales & program, legal, compliance, finance & controlling, business strategy, purchasing, HR & SHE, quality, logistics, engineering & IT across the United States, Mexico, Brazil, and South Africa. The latter, although not located in the Americas, is part of this strategic market due to its operational relevance and synergy.

BENTELER’s automotive operations in the United States span several strategically located facilities. In Auburn Hills, Michigan, the strategic office supports operations with engineering, sales, and other support areas situated close to major OEMs. In Grand Rapids, the Hagen Drive facility brings over 40 years of manufacturing excellence, delivering precision components with a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement. The Spartanburg plant in South Carolina specializes in module assembly and welded structures, supporting modern vehicle design through technical expertise and recent investments. Meanwhile, the Holland facility in Michigan stands out as a center of excellence in aluminum extrusion, producing lightweight, high-strength components that enhance vehicle safety and performance. Together, these locations form a robust network that reinforces BENTELER’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction across the automotive industry.

The stamping plant in Puebla stands as a hub of precision engineering and flexible production, offering advanced cold forming and welding solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the automotive industry.
Complementing these manufacturing capabilities, BENTELER’s Shared Service Center in Mexico provides essential support for finance operations – including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury – for plants across Mexico and the United States.

BENTELER Brazil combines strategic leadership and industrial excellence. The Campinas Headquarters leads key areas like finance, HR, engineering, IT, communications and ESG, supporting markets across Brazil, the U.S., Mexico, and South Africa. Campinas also hosts the largest plant in Brazil, serving major OEMs with chassis, BIW, and structural components. Other key locations include Porto Real-RJ, a hybrid complex for welded parts and modules; Goiana-PE, focused on advanced structural components using hot forming and laser cutting; São Caetano do Sul-SP, specialized in suspension modules with JIT/JIS operations; and Joinville-SC assembling modules and powertrains for premium vehicles. Together, these sites reflect BENTELER’s commitment to innovation, quality, and mobility.

Dr. Emerson Galina, President Americas and COO at BENTELER, has dedicated 15 years to the company, progressing from Commercial and Product Group Director to Executive Vice President. He has served, as the first Brazilian, on BENTELER’s global Management Board since 2019: “From our Campinas headquarters, we lead strategic areas for the entire market – strategy and program management, controlling, HR, engineering, and more. Guided by the principle of “being where the customer is”, BENTELER drives agility, regional growth, and sustainability across the USA, Mexico, Brazil, and South Africa.”
