Katharina Walter, Director of ControllingI began my career at BENTELER in Germany as a trainee, later moving into auditing and visiting global locations. A highlight was Brazil, where I took on my first international leadership role. After three years, I joined BENTELER USA and now serve as Controlling Director for the USA and Mexico. I love working in an international environment and leading a diverse team. Here's part of our team at a recent event, learning to cook traditional fall-themed American dishes.

BENTELER US’ internship program gives students the opportunity to apply the skills they’re learning in the classroom while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic professional environment. Interns work 15–30 hours per week, allowing them to balance meaningful career development with their academic priorities. Throughout the program, students build valuable networks, strengthen their technical and professional abilities, and explore career paths with the support of experienced mentors. BENTELER US is committed to fostering growth while always prioritizing each intern’s education.
Interns at BENTELER US receive a competitive hourly wage and are eligible for our 401(k) program with company match. Internship opportunities are offered across a variety of environments—ranging from hands-on roles in manufacturing and production such as Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Safety, and Operations, to desk-based administrative functions including Finance, Human Resources, IT, and more.
